As a Security Officer - Lobby Patrol in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.
As a Front Desk professional, you will be stationed at the main entry point, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management.
- Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents and daily activities.
- Communicate with management and emergency personnel as needed to address issues or concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
