Surveillance Operator

• Monitor gaming and non‑gaming related activities and procedures.
• Respond to regulatory compliance questions, requests for video review, and other requests for information from Audit Services, Gaming Regulators, Michigan State Police, Risk Management, or Human Resources.
• Assist the Security Department with video reviews, monitoring incidents for officer safety and emergency situations such as bomb threats, fire emergencies, robberies, and other criminal or unacceptable public behavior (e.g., disorderly conduct).
• Ensure that Motor City's policies, goals, and objectives are being met.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Conduct surveillance of gaming areas for cheating, theft, and other criminal acts, and monitor compliance with Michigan Gaming Control Board rules, Motor City rules, and state and federal regulations.
• Ability to evaluate and identify deviations from established standards and procedures, and prepare a Surveillance Incident Report for each deviation.
• Surveillance or loss prevention experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
