You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, clergy, staff, and guests by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at cultural institution locations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor access points; verify authorization credentials; and maintain visitor sign-in and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, access-control issues, and security-related concerns.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
