Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for installing structural concrete formwork and supporting substation construction. Engage in hands‑on activities involving the assembly, installation, and finishing of concrete structures.
Responsibilities- Assist with the installation of below‑grade concrete structures used to support substations.
- Assemble and install formwork systems for structural concrete.
- Place and secure reinforcing steel per specifications.
- Install PVC conduit for electrical and grounding systems.
- Position and secure anchors and embedded hardware.
- Support pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces.
- Assist with layout and measurement verification for structural components.
- Handle and organize equipment and materials for installation.
- Assist in positioning and aligning equipment during placement.
- Secure equipment to concrete anchor points per design.
- Perform general labor tasks to facilitate project progress.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for formwork and installation tasks.
- Experience in concrete form building and installation.
- Proficiency in handling and installing rebar.
- Ability to install PVC conduit and metal fasteners.
- Familiarity with general labor and construction tasks.
- Skillful operation of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in substation construction.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in building substations is ideal.

Work EnvironmentThis role involves working outside in various weather conditions, including dirt and snow, on construction sites. Expect a dynamic and physically demanding work environment that requires appropriate attire for safety and comfort.
Project SiteThe first project site is in Carey, OH. Weekly pay + per diem offered.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.
