Position OverviewBlazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Social Worker to join a school team in Detroit, MI. This role supports both General Education and Special Education students, providing direct social-emotional services and helping manage behavioral needs within the school environment.
Caseload & Responsibilities- Serve both General Education and Special Education students
- Act as the 504 Plan Coordinator
- Provide social-emotional support and behavioral intervention
- Collaborate closely with staff, families, and administrators
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Must hold one of the following credentials:
- SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work
- MDE School Social Worker Credential
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills required
