Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan Psychologist License required
- Experience or familiarity with school-based psychological services preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside social workers, educators, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, social workers, and administrators to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as necessary
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate, confidential records, following all state and federal regulations
