Job Title: PHP Developer

Location:

Detroit, MI
Duration: 12+ months

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements, implement solutions, and provide tools and documentation
• Perform scheduled on-call duties
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Maintain and enhance existing development processes to ensure code performance and scalability
• Provide accurate estimates, regular feedback, and meet project deadlines
• Explain complex ideas to non-technical team members
• Write and modify code for eight or more hours a day

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Four years of professional object-oriented PHP 5 experience, including MVC frameworks
• Knowledge of unit testing and its benefits
• Attention to detail
• Software testing and design experience
• Established portfolio of work and code samples

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern HTML5, HTML, and CSS markup
• Team-oriented experience
• Experience with Symfony Framework (preferred but not required)
