Akkodis is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a 6 Months contract in Detroit, MI - Onsite

Rate Range: $64.00/HR - $68.00/HR;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure .NET Developer with 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building, integrating, and maintaining cloud‑native applications using Azure services and the .NET technology stack. This role involves designing scalable solutions, working closely with stakeholders, and delivering high‑quality, secure, and performant applications in Azure environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and manage Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage (Blob).
• Work with Azure Cosmos DB and SQL Server for data storage and integration.
• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and MVC.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability in Azure.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and cloud‑related issues.
• Follow best practices for coding standards, CI/CD, and cloud governance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage Blobs, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Logic Apps
• Solid experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and MVC
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design
• Experience with cloud‑native and microservices architectures
