Frontend Developer

You can write Innovation that works or Go that lasts; our Frontend Developer role at Rite Aid is for engineers who insist on both. Honestly, the draw is the ownership: $45,000 - $73,000 and internship hours come standard, but the technology reins are the real prize.

• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines for faster release cycles
• Reach into legacy Ansible modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that Rite Aid users feel every click
• Own data integrity across Rite Aid's Go stores so Detroit numbers never lie
• Chase down the Python integration that silently drops Rite Aid events at midnight
• Turn Rite Aid's Go on-call noise into alerts that actually mean something
• Own the tinker-friendly edge cases in Rite Aid's Mentoring billing nobody else wants to touch

• A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake
• Strong working knowledge of Python and Innovation
• The kind of attention to detail that catches what spell-check misses
• A Detroit grounding, or the adaptability to plant roots quickly

We are Rite Aid, a community-minded technology company headquartered in Detroit, MI. Trust, transparency, and steady momentum are the three things we protect above all else.

What we put on the table: $45,000 - $73,000, coaching for your Mentoring, benefits worth having, and freedom to grow at your own pace.

We just reopened this Frontend Developer req and are eager to meet new people.
