Fleet Manager

Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's fleet operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective management of vehicles. This role involves coordinating maintenance, managing drivers, and optimizing fleet performance to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles.
• Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with drivers and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage fuel usage and expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Optimize routes and schedules to improve efficiency.
• Handle any issues related to vehicle accidents or breakdowns.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a mechanic or similar role.
• Preventative Maintenance Experience.
• Ability to manage a 100+ fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.
