Allied Reliability is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Data Clerk/Analyst for an open ended contract opportunity with one of our premier clients located in the Detroit area. This particular project consists of three warehouses in the Detroit, MI area some with approximately 20-25 minutes in between each location. Applicants should be aware that there may be travel between the different warehouse locations for this position and all interested candidates should be willing and able to travel to the other warehouses when needed.
This role will involve managing data entry tasks crucial to the effectiveness of warehouse operations and ensuring the seamless flow of information across our client’s logistics processes.
- Perform accurate data entry for warehouse operations, including inventory tracking and other logistics processes.
- Manage and update computer databases and records, ensuring reliability and accuracy of warehouse inventory data.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
- Generate reports related to inventory levels, shipping transactions, and data analysis as required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved data entry processes and technology solutions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support other administrative tasks related to warehouse operations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient typing skills with experience in data entry.
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse administration, data entry, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
