Schedule: First 2 Weeks of Every Month (Except December: Last 2 Weeks)
Medical Directorship Stipend: $50,000 Annually
Relocation: Relocating candidate highly preferred, but open to commuters

Join a mission-driven team at CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, ND, where clinical excellence meets lifestyle flexibility. We’re seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to provide high-quality inpatient care and, optionally, serve as Medical Director with a $50,000 annual stipend.

This role offers a consistent schedule (14 days per month), supportive leadership, and a manageable census — all within a growing community and a collegial environment.

• Base Rate: $210/hour

• Quality & Productivity Bonus: $10/hour

• PM Call Coverage: $42/hour

• Call Back Compensation: $210/hour

• Medical Directorship: $50,000/year (optional)

• Professional Liability Insurance Provided

• Scheduling Options: 7-on/7-off or 14-on/14-off

• Thoracentesis

• Paracentesis (diagnostic and therapeutic)

• Central Line

• Ultrasound-Guided IVs

• Ventilator Management

• Intubation preferred, not required

• Lumbar Punctures

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (other specialties considered with inpatient experience)

• Comfortable performing hospitalist procedures

• Eligible for unrestricted North Dakota medical license and DEA

• Strong team player with leadership potential

• 25-bed critical access hospital with a 4-bed open ICU

• Flexible block scheduling and streamlined credentialing

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM onsite with unrestricted night call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• APP support during peak hours

• Average census: 8–15 patients per day | 2–3 daily admissions

• EMR: Meditech

• Mix of mild to complex acute cases

• Supportive administrative team and leadership

• Work the first two weeks of each month,

• Except December, when the schedule shifts to the last two weeks of the month

• Expedited credentialing process

• Work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
