American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active ND or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Requirements- Active RN license (North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
- All certifications must be obtained prior to start date
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Any shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- 30-minute meal break included in shift
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond appropriately, including emergency interventions
- Begin discharge planning early and provide patient/family education
- Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice as appropriate
- Document observations and complete incident reports as needed
