Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Med/Surg/Tele/Peds unit requiring an active ND or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Active RN license through the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement required prior to start
• Current BLS certification required prior to start

• Work in the Medical Surgical Unit, covering Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Pediatric patients
• 3x12 hour shifts, any shift, totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform daily rounds and coordinate patient care to ensure quality customer service
• Develop individualized plans of care addressing physical, psychological, social, educational, and rehabilitative needs
• Assess and manage patient pain and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team and document observations accurately
• Begin discharge planning early and provide patient/family education
• Delegate nursing interventions appropriately within scope of practice and competence
