Measures of Success
  • Be a trusted advisor to Bravera Insurance clients.
  • Offer exceptional customer service.
  • Support the sales function of Bravera Insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inform and educate clients about coverages, exclusions and exposures to create an insurance plan tailored for them.
  • Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
  • Maintain agency electronic files accurately and consistently; process all incoming mail requests accurately and timely. Document all conversations in the automation system.
  • Provide technical support (quotes, proposals, suspense items, summaries, etc.) to Insurance Advisors to help clients and reach the agency’s business goals.
  • Perform online rating with companies or submit to carriers for rating. Follow up in a timely manner.
  • Follow agency workflows and procedures.
  • Report and assist clients in submission of claims to carrier. Inform Insurance Advisor of potential issues in claim process.
  • Be responsible for coverage analysis, renewal review and re‑marketing.
  • Actively refer clients to other departments for solicitation. Make each contact a marketing opportunity.
  • Keep current on carriers, product knowledge and trends in the marketplace.
  • Work as a team with other service associates.
  • May assist in the training and mentoring of new staff.
  • Utilize 3rd party insurance products.
  • Assume other tasks as directed by agency management.
  • Promote the organization in the community through participation in civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holding Co.
  • Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, and proactively prevent illegal activities, report suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications
  • Valid Resident Insurance License within 90 days of accepting the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field.
  • Minimum three years related experience OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with ever‑changing priorities.
  • PC proficiency in a Windows environment required, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding.
  • Professional communication both verbally and written.
  • Must drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record to satisfy Bravera’s vehicle insurance coverage.
