Bennett & Game are representing a leading specialist drylining contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to oversee a commercial drylining package on a project based in Devizes.
The company delivers commercial drylining, plastering, suspended ceilings and associated interior systems across a range of construction projects. With an established presence in the sector and a strong pipeline of work across the South Coast, South West and South Wales, the business offers further opportunities beyond the initial project.
This role offers an approximately 40-week project, due to commence in November 2026, with an immediate start also possible. Both permanent and contract applicants will be considered, making this a good opportunity for an experienced drylining Site Manager seeking either a long-term position or a contract assignment with the potential for further work.
Salary & Benefits
Permanent salary of approximately £50,000, depending on experience.
* Contract rate of up to £250 per day.

* Quarterly discretionary bonus scheme for permanent employees.
* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays for permanent employees.

Site Manager
Position Overview
Manage day-to-day site operations for a commercial drylining package in Devizes.
* Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractors to maintain programme targets.
* Monitor quality, health and safety, and compliance across all drylining works.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site diaries and relevant project records.
* Liaise with the principal contractor, consultants and wider project team.
* Monitor progress against project milestones and address any issues affecting delivery.
* Ensure all required security clearances are obtained and maintained.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Position Requirements
Extensive experience managing commercial drylining packages.
* Previous experience as a Site Manager within a specialist subcontractor or similar construction environment.
* Strong technical understanding of drylining systems, specifications and installation methods.
* Ability to obtain and pass the required security clearances.
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures and site documentation.
* Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
* Ability to coordinate subcontractors, labour and materials effectively.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification, or relevant equivalent qualifications.
