Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, with Friday finishing at 12:20pm We are recruiting for a Customer Account Associate to join an established manufacturing business in Devizes. This is a varied customer-focused role, working closely with customers and internal teams to manage enquiries, quotations and orders, while keeping customers updated on the progress of their work.
The Role Working as part of the Sales team, you will be responsible for:
Handling customer enquiries and liaising with the relevant internal departments Preparing quotations and processing customer orders Monitoring the progress of orders through production and providing customers with regular updates Working closely with planning, quality and design teams to ensure orders can progress smoothly Managing customer expectations and resolving queries where required Allocating completed or available parts to support the despatch process Supporting customer requests relating to areas such as materials, capacity and environmental information Maintaining accurate information across internal systems and customer portals About You We are looking for someone with previous experience in a customer service, sales administration, account management or order processing environment, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering business.
You will need:
Strong customer service and communication skills Good organisational and administration skills The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines A calm and practical approach to problem solving Good attention to detail Confidence working with data and customer information Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook The ability to work effectively with different departments and build good working relationships A positive approach to continuous improvement and teamwork
Experience with ERP systems, D365, SharePoint or customer portals would be advantageous.
