Are you enthusiastic about fitness? Join our team as a Personal Trainer to motivate others on their path to improve their health and wellbeing.
As a Personal Trainer, you will assess individuals and design safe, progressive and engaging activity plans that meet their personal health needs. You will take time to understand each person's goals, build confidence and support long-term participation. Working closely with your line manager, you will help develop opportunities that increase participation, strengthen our sporting infrastructure and maintain a high standard of customer care.
A uniform will be provided and working patterns will be agreed to meet service needs, which may include public or bank holidays.
You will need recognised qualifications in your specialist area and a genuine commitment to ongoing learning. You will understand coaching principles, know the health and fitness sector well and confidence to motivate people at all stages of their journey.
If you are passionate about helping people lead healthier, happier and more active lives, we would love to hear from you.
As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.

A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer. It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations such as high-volume, seasonal and high-peak times, the employer may wish to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered to both disabled people and non-disabled people.
