About the role
Change Grow Live is a charity dedicated to helping Service Users change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals and live life to its full potential. We are looking for a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they access the right intervention at the right time.
Location:
HMP Erlestoke
- Supporting service users from entry into the service through their treatment/recovery journey
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
- Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to users and the wider community
- Promoting carer, user and community involvement
- Advocating for access to partnership services
- Supporting social reintegration, enabling users to lead meaningful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self‑determination
- Researching, designing and preparing subject matter and materials for groups / pods
- Delivering structured content within group settings to users at various stages of recovery
- Debriefing and evaluating services with co‑facilitators, reviewing progress and identifying concerns
- Tailoring workshops around the needs of service users (e.g., anger management, sleep disorders, relationships)
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field
- Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics such as conflict or challenging behaviour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good IT literacy
- Proactive, independent, with excellent time‑management and prioritising skills
- Knowledge of mental health interventions, services and best practice
- Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a wide range of professionals, agencies and stakeholders
- Ability to manage change effectively, prioritising the needs of service users
- Commitment to information governance processes and safeguarding practices
- Willingness to seek learning opportunities and contribute to the development of others
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional day for each year of service during the first five years (30 days after five years)

Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent contract. Salary range: CGL points 23 to 28 (£28,557.79 - £32,802.41).
