Were looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire service based in Devizes, helping to oversee and deliver high-quality support. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands-on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly.
This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
About the people youll be supporting:
We support up to 38 people living across 7 bungalows in the heart of Wiltshire, just outside the market town of Devizes. This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
Where youll be working: DEVIZES
This is a full-time role where your week will be split between providing direct support on shift and also completing leadership and administrative tasks.

- Full UK Drivers licence level 2 in Health and Social Care

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;
- Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
- Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
- Communicating - effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
- Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
- Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
- Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
- Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
