AboutThe Role
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you'll provide administrative support across the full HR remit, working closely with managers, employees and key stakeholders.
The People Operations Assistant Will- Provide administrative support across all HR functions
- Maintain HR systems and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Process resignations, absence records and HR documentation
- Administer company benefits and support employee engagement initiatives
- Respond to general HR queries and support HR projects
- Support recruitment, onboarding and inductions across the business
- Coordinate probation reviews and update job descriptions
- Act as main point of contact with the payroll bureau and support payroll processes
- Act as first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive employee data and documentation.
- Confident communication skills - friendly, professional and able to support employees at all levels.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to use initiative and solve problems independently.
- High levels of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with personal information.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and confidence using HR systems.
- Accuracy and confidence with data, particularly when supporting payroll, absence and reporting tasks.
- Previous HR or payroll experience desirable but not essential
