About

The Role

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you'll provide administrative support across the full HR remit, working closely with managers, employees and key stakeholders.

The People Operations Assistant Will
  • Provide administrative support across all HR functions
  • Maintain HR systems and personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process resignations, absence records and HR documentation
  • Administer company benefits and support employee engagement initiatives
  • Respond to general HR queries and support HR projects
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and inductions across the business
  • Coordinate probation reviews and update job descriptions
  • Act as main point of contact with the payroll bureau and support payroll processes
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome
About You We Are Looking For Someone With
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive employee data and documentation.
  • Confident communication skills - friendly, professional and able to support employees at all levels.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to use initiative and solve problems independently.
  • High levels of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with personal information.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and confidence using HR systems.
  • Accuracy and confidence with data, particularly when supporting payroll, absence and reporting tasks.
  • Previous HR or payroll experience desirable but not essential
