We are looking for a motivated Process Operator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing environment producing high-precision components for the aerospace and power generation sectors. This is a varied, hands-on role involving a combination of machine operation, component assembly, reshaping and finishing activities.
Working within a specialist manufacturing team, you will play a key part in producing critical engineered products to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate specialist production machinery and equipment.
- Carry out component assembly, reshaping and finishing processes.
- Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings and quality procedures.
- Complete production and inspection documentation accurately.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults or issues.
- Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Previous manufacturing, production or engineering experience.
- Experience operating machinery within a precision engineering environment would be advantageous.
- EDM experience is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately.
- Positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
- Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Full-time, permanent position.
