• Salary: £40,579.20 per annum (includes £1k RRA), plus overtime payments after 6 months
• Contract:
  
  Permanent, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
• Holidays: 25 days per year + Bank Holidays, plus various non‑contractual benefits

We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Erlestoke, a Category C adult male prison. As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues to maintain and repair electrical systems across a self‑contained “city” of facilities, ensuring safety and security for prisoners, staff, visitors, and the local community.

• Two years’ experience working as an electrician
• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Good working knowledge of planned preventive maintenance operations
• Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• Certificate in BS (18th edition)
• Good health & safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills
