As a Medical Technologist II at Mercy One Genesis, you will perform moderate and high complexity testing in some or all areas of the Laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. You will also be responsible for proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions.

• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or categorical/specialist certification in a laboratory discipline from ASCP or certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from HEW or AMT or completion of a Military training course as a Medical Laboratory Specialist. Certification in one of the following: MT(ASCP), or CLS (NCA), or MLS(ASCP), or MT(AMT), or MT(HEW)
• Meets qualifications for testing personnel performing high complexity testing as specified in C.L.I.A. Subpart M. Sec. 493.1491

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
