Warehouse Supervisor – Float Glass Facility, DeWitt, Iowa
Guardian Glass is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a dynamic team at our Float Glass Facility in DeWitt, Iowa. You will use your leadership skills to elevate a talented group into a high‑performance unit while driving our vision and culture forward. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate production with 7–8 employees in a specified area.
- Promote and model a self‑driven safety culture.
- Manage labor, prioritize projects, and oversee daily operations.
- Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure timely follow‑up, and manage performance goals.
- Work hands‑on with production and planning teams to fulfill orders, address issues, and make decisions.
- Ensure quality products are produced to specification.
- Partner with contractors and cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor production systems, enter data, correct errors, and maintain critical screens.
As a supervisor you will collaborate daily with a diverse group of leaders, emphasizing teamwork, open communication, and supportive feedback. The culture values strong leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications- Supervisory experience.
- Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts (6:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement events/activities.
