As the Assistant Director of Healthcare Services (ADON) with Fieldstone, you will:

• Collaborate with the DON for overall nursing leadership within our Long-Term Care, Skilled and Memory-Care areas
• Orientate, train, and provide ongoing training and supervision to employees
• Assist in the evaluation of the health care services needed for each resident
• Serve as the liaison for staff shift transitions
• Plan, develop and oversee staffing schedules
• Schedule and conduct in-services meetings for staff
• Prepare and participate in surveys and inspections made by authorized government agencies
• Partner with the DON for nursing operation efficiencies
• Oversee infection control program and reporting
• Communicate with physicians, family members, etc. regarding resident status as appropriate
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Audit skills of nursing staff

Open Shifts Available: Work three 12-hour shifts every week — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, followed by Saturday, Sunday, and Monday the next week.

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Iowa, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
• Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, quality assurance, compliance, and clinical practices.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills to develop/supervise nursing personnel in a team environment.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled in effective delegation.
