Are you an experienced Tekla Detailer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a talented Senior Tekla Detailer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile structural and architectural steelwork projects.

As a Senior Tekla Detailer, you will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring projects move smoothly from design through to manufacture and installation.

• Create high-quality Tekla Structures 3D models and fabrication drawings
• Produce assembly drawings, GA drawings, bolt lists, and material take-offs
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical challenges early
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Support and mentor junior detailers
• Attend design and coordination meetings as required

• 5+ years' experience as a Tekla Detailer within the steelwork industry
• Strong knowledge of structural and secondary steelwork
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
• Solid understanding of fabrication processes, welding symbols, tolerances, and installation methods
• Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines

• Experience mentoring or supervising junior detailers
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and data exchange formats (IFC, DWG, etc.)
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards
