As a key member of our Business Support team, you will play a vital part in coordinating the elective patient pathway a role that is central to delivering safe, effective and timely care for our patients. You will:
Responsibilities- Work in a busy, multi-stream environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality elective services.
- Build excellent relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and partner NHS providers.
- Provide empathetic, patient-centred communication, especially when supporting patients who may be anxious or distressed.
- Use multiple IT systems to manage bookings, coordinate patient pathways, monitor RTT (Referral To Treatment) targets, and support the delivery of the Outpatient Digital Agenda.
- Ensure patient communication needs are met in line with the Accessible Information Standard.
- Analyse and collate complex data to support key tasks accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Work both independently and as part of a supportive team, contributing to a professional, efficient, and compassionate service.
