An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Service Engineer to provide routine and emergency maintenance, service and support in the Yorkshire and Humber region, onsite at customer premises. They currently have a large customer base which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so you must have the ability to prove you have sound electrical knowledge and experience, but also a can do attitude and a willingness to learn this new technology of the future.

As the successful service engineer your will be include Servicing and repair of forklifts as directed by the Service Manager. Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, can-do attitude. Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system. Reporting to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities Solid experience with forklifts.

Confident Electrical knowledge. City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification is ideal but not essential, this could be time served Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven. Ability to think outside the box, adept at finding solutions. Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure. Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite. Good team player.
