A well-established manufacturing organisation based at its head office in Dewsbury is seeking an experienced Pipework Inspector to join its engineering and integrity team on a permanent basis
.

This is a site-based role with no travel required
, offering long-term stability within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Salary and Benefits of the Pipework Inspector
  • Annual Salary Between £40,000 - £45,000
  • Early finish every Friday (1:30pm)

The Role of Pipework Inspector

As a Pipework Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety and compliance of pipework systems across the manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities of the Pipework Inspector include:

  • Inspection and assessment of pipework systems in line with company procedures and industry standards
  • Supporting and maintaining written schemes of examination (WSEs)
  • Inspecting new, existing and modified pipework installations
  • Identifying corrosion, erosion, fatigue and other degradation mechanisms
  • Producing clear inspection reports with findings and recommendations
  • Liaising with engineering, maintenance and operations teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant UK legislation and best practice
  • Maintaining accurate inspection and asset integrity records
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Pipework Inspector within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of pipework integrity and inspection techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation (e.g.PSSR)
  • High attention to detail with a strong safety focus
