Packing Operative – Dewsbury

We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives to join our client, a busy packaging and manufacturing company based in Dewsbury.

Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the packing and assembly of a range of high-quality packaging products. The role would suit someone who is practical, reliable and able to work accurately in a busy production environment.

The Role

* Packing and assembling finished packaging products

* Carrying out basic production and assembly tasks

* Checking products for quality and ensuring they meet required standards

* Following production instructions and customer specifications

* Preparing completed products for dispatch

* Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area

* Following company health and safety procedures at all times

* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

About You

* Previous experience in a packing, production or manufacturing environment is desirable

* Good attention to detail

* Able to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and quality

* Reliable and punctual

* Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks

* Good team-working skills

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Previous packaging experience would be advantageous but is not essential
