Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business in West Yorkshire for an experienced Quality Team Leader.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in manufacturing quality who is looking to take the next step in their career and have responsibility for quality standards across multiple areas of the business.
The successful candidate will lead a small quality team and work closely with production, purchasing and management to identify and resolve quality issues, improve processes and maintain consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead quality standards across multiple manufacturing areas.
* Manage and support a small quality team.
* Investigate customer complaints and identify root causes.
* Manage non-conformances and corrective actions.
* Support the investigation of supplier quality issues.
* Produce regular quality reports and analyse trends.
* Lead quality meetings and ensure actions are followed through.
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Promote a Right First Time and continuous improvement culture.
* Work closely with production, purchasing and management to improve quality performance.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Previous quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of quality control, non-conformance and root cause analysis.
* Experience dealing with customer complaints and supplier issues.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* The confidence to communicate and influence across different departments.
* Experience producing reports and working with data.
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Experience with in furniture manufacturing or a similar production environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Salary of up to £35,000 per annum.
* Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm.
* 40 hours per week.
