Opened 40 years ago, this school offers dual teaching with students working towards US or Saudi diplomas. The school is also IB PYP and MYP authorised and hosts 2000 students taught by over 200 teaching staff – of which 20 % are international expat staff. The schools are separated into Boys and Girls’ schools and as per Saudi law, males can teach in the Boys school and females in the Girls.

Facilities are good and the staff are tight knit.

Dhahran is close to the Saudi and Bahrain border. A small city originally created for the families and staff of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (ARAMCO) it is purpose built to ensure its residents feel as comfortable as possible. Dhahran and Saudi itself are developing facilities at a rapid pace with western‑style amenities popping up as the country develops fast – further facilities can be found in nearby Khobar, 15 km away.

• Teachers should have 2+ years of post‑qualifying experience
• Teaching subject must match your degree subject (Ministry rules)
• Whilst US and/or IB experience is desirable – other transferable curriculum experience will be considered
• International or EAL experience an advantage
