Job Summary
Professor and Lecturer positions in Industrial & Systems Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) are open for multiple ranks. Candidates with strong research, teaching, and service potential in key areas such as Operations Research, Production Systems / Supply Chain, Quality & Data Science, Engineering Economics, Industrial Information Systems, and Human Factors are invited to apply.
Positions and Eligibility- Assistant / Associate / Full Professor – open to all nationalities
- Lecturer – open to all nationalities
- Graduate Assistant – Saudi nationals only
- Operations Research
- Production Systems / Supply Chain
- Quality and Data Science
- Engineering Economics
- Industrial Information Systems
- Human Factors
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
- Conduct original research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals and conferences
- Advise and mentor students
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement
- Participate in department and university service activities
- PhD in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research
- Experience in programming (preferably Python and Jupyter) for course development
- Commitment to service and professional development
Typical workload for faculty: approximately 35–40 hours per week. Graduate assistants will work a structured 35–40 hour week.
