Security Officer - Residential Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Residential Patrol in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for a residential community. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and property management to address concerns and uphold site expectations.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
