As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be assigned to a residential community where you will monitor and patrol the premises to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. Job Schedule:

Day Time
Tue 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Wed 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Thur 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the residential location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting or denying access as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the residential environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around common areas and the perimeter of the residential community to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and vendors to maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the location.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the residential site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
