As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a residential community. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting regular patrols throughout the property, and remaining visible to help deter security‑related incidents.

Mon 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Sat 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Sun 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized entry into the residential community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing communication and de‑escalation skills as needed.
• Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals seeking entry to the location, addressing any discrepancies according to established guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client‑specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and provide a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, staff, and emergency responders as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
