Contract Librarian

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Librarian to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. This is a contract position, ideal for an Indian national looking for a temporary job opportunity.

• Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
• Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
• Organize and classify materials using the Dewey Decimal System
• Develop and implement library programs and services for the community
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation statistics
• Collaborate with other librarians to select new materials for the collection
• Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Previous experience working as a librarian, preferably in a contract or temporary position
• Strong knowledge of library organization systems and cataloging techniques
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Fluency in English is preferred but not required
