Pediatrics Physician

Summary:
pediatrician to cover 7 days of call per month from February 2025 through October 2025.

On Call (Daily) - We will negotiate a rate with you "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis"

Call Back - You will also have a callback rate that works for you "Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms."

Holiday pay is increased

7 days per month, 24 hour call.

Setting:
Critical Access Hospital, Labor and Deliver/Pediatrics Unit/Level II nursery

Duties:
Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, Attend all scheduled and emergent C-Sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, circumcisions,

Required Procedures:
Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/ intubations/UVC , lumbar punctures

EMR:
Meditech

Support Staff:
Nursing team. Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, obgyns, Respiratory Therapists, local pediatricians to consult with, NICU located in Bismarck (90 miles) with consulting physicians.

Reason for Coverage:
Awaiting onboarding of new pediatrician in October 2025.

CHI history? CHI St. Alexius Dickinson collaborates with Sanford Health Dickinson for pediatric care. Our Peds on Call consists of both Sanford Health and CHI pediatricians. Working relationship with both entities is great. We have a level two nursery. Do not deliver patients less than 36 weeks if possible. Nearest transfer center is Bismarck, ND- CHI St. Alexius Bismarck or Sanford Health Bismarck.
