Surgery - General Physician

CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, ND. General Surgery is looking for 2-3 Locums
Any contractor accepted will need to go through payor enrollment.
Dates of coverage: August 26th on going

Details: The need is to start on August 26th and would be ongoing with 14 days a month and 10 days of call to also include seeing patients in the clinic. We also will look at candidates who are also IMLC in process in addition to full IMLC.

Trauma Level: IV

Bed count: 25

Surgery: Scheduled M-F.

Emergent: 7 days/week 24/7

Call: 24/7/365

Average number GS patients per 24 hrs of call: 0-5

GS needs to be available for phone consults, admissions and rounding on GS patients-only

Agency physician will not supervise any APP

Anesthesia coverage is provided by CRNA group

• Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels:
  Candlewood Suites - 1430 Sims St. Dickinson, ND. 5860. In the event that the Common Spirit Health preferred hotel is not available, hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense, up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market.
• Air Travel: Local, preferred but not required. $750/round trip cap
• Rental Cars
  : $65/day all in cap (including taxes and fees) regardless of car class.
• Mileage: IRS Standard Rate

• Board Certified
  - REQUIRED (We will accept BE within 3 years of US residency training)
• ACLS and ND DEA
  - REQUIRED
• Will look at candidates who are also IMLC in process to full IMLC
• Prefer clean files. Will not accept any physicians actively on monitoring agreements. Also will not accept anyone with revoked license or privileges. If a candidate has incidents of malpractice and/or legal proceedings, PLEASE, PLEASE include a brief narrative that has the dates, settlement amount, disposition status, where it occurred; this will avoid any delays in our review process.

Privileging lead time: 30 days. Temporary privileges are available.
