Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—to become a part of our team and join our mission of expanding the world’s capacity to care. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adultsto remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

At Home Instead, you will be more than just a Caregiver. You will be a Care Professional (Care Pro). We strive to honor and respect every Care Pro for their unique gifts. We have a thorough training program to prepare you for your assignments, a recognition program to ensure you get the credit you deserve, and competitive payso you or your family can be supported from your efforts.

Your shift will start with traveling to the home of your assigned client. Client needs vary, so we match Care Professionals’ skills to the clients' needs. You may be asked to do light housekeeping, companionship, outings, medical appointments, showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, or any other ADL or IADL according to the client’s needs. You will NOT be asked to do skilled nursing tasks like administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Ability to treat and care for aging adultsand their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and compassionate manner
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)

• Full-time

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only
• Holidays

• Hiring for am shifts in the Dickinson area, with availability from 8am
  -12 pm

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance
• Ability to lift 25 lbs or more
