The Bid Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient administration of bids, managing liaison communications, and addressing customer inquiries. This position involves meticulously recording customer RFQs and updates, thoroughly reviewing technical packages and requirements, and effectively communicating these details to relevant parties within KMM. Working closely with the Proposal Coordinator, the Bid Support Specialist is responsible for processing all Requests For Quotes (RFQ) to completion.

This role requires collaboration with all members of the bidding group to develop high-quality proposals tailored to various customer specifications. The Bid Support Specialist ensures that quotes are submitted accurately and punctually, upholding the company's reputation for fairness and ethical conduct. A professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills are essential for success in this role.

• Record all customer RFQs and updates to RFQs in a timely manner.
• Review RFQ document packages, including Statement of Work (SOW), Parts List, Dimensional Drawing, Specifications, Quality Notes, and other requirements.
• Communicate RFQ summaries to KMM internal interested parties to obtain bid/no bid decisions (Program Managers, Engineers, Strategic Sourcing Analysts, Planning, etc.) in a professional, organized, and accurate manner.
• Answer questions from KMM internal colleagues regarding RFQ status and RFQ packages.
• Submit completed bid packages to the customer on time, within RFQ deadlines.
