Nursing Assistant Trainee

Earn While You Learn – Benedictine-sponsored CNA-NAR training classes will set you on a path to a long-lasting career.

As an associate of Benedictine, you will be provided with the tools and skills necessary to succeed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The training is free, and you will be paid and earn a certification during training.

• Attend all scheduled classes and successfully pass the state-required certification test.
• Collect initial and ongoing data on residents and report their condition and changes to the RN or LPN.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare team members.

• Currently enrolled in or hired into a Benedictine CNA-NAR training program.
• Eligible to be listed on the State Nursing Assistant registry or an appropriate entity upon successful training completion.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• BLS Certification.
