Deli & Bakery Manager

This role involves leading daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring proper training, staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals.

Key responsibilities include ordering and maintaining inventory, verifying received products for quality and accuracy, managing a team to handle stocking and product rotation, and ensuring food safety and safety guidelines are consistently followed.

Additionally, the role requires developing and executing plans to achieve department goals, managing schedules, labor, and payroll, and maintaining a clean, attractive, and well-stocked environment. The manager will oversee staffing, training, performance, and career development of associates, participate in meetings, and monitor department forecasts and objectives.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience preferred, supervisory experience a plus, strong communication, organization, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Proficiency in retail systems and MS Office is required, with bilingual abilities desirable based on location.
