Bravera Insurance is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Dickinson, ND. Job Summary

This customer service position is responsible for all aspects of client account servicing. An Account Manager owns the Bravera Insurance client relationship by providing day‑to‑day service and coverage solutions that meet our clients’ needs and expectations.

Measures of Success
  • Be a trusted advisor to Bravera Insurance clients.
  • Offer exceptional customer service.
  • Support the sales function of Bravera Insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Informs and educates clients about coverages, exclusions, and exposures to create an insurance plan tailored for them.
  • Assists clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
  • Maintains agency electronic files accurately and consistently; processes all incoming mail requests accurately and timely; documents all conversations in the automation system.
  • Provides technical support (quotes, proposals, suspense items, summaries, etc.) to Insurance Advisors to help clients and reach the agency’s business goals.
  • Performs online rating with companies or submits to carriers for rating. Follows up in a timely manner.
  • Follows agency workflows and procedures.
  • Reports and assists clients in submission of claims to carrier. Informs Insurance Advisor of potential issues in claim process.
  • Responsible for coverage analysis, renewal review and re‑marketing.
  • Actively refers clients to other departments for solicitation. Makes each contact a marketing opportunity.
  • Keeps current on carriers, product knowledge and trends in the marketplace.
  • Works as a team with other service associates.
  • May assist in the training and mentoring of new staff.
  • Utilizes third‑party insurance products.
  • Assists or completes other tasks as directed by agency management.
  • Promotes the organization in the community through participation in civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holding Co.
  • Adheres to all banking rules and regulations, including the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act; proactively prevents illegal activities and reports suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

Qualifications (knowledge, skills and abilities)
  • Valid Resident Insurance License within 90 days of accepting the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or another related field.
  • Minimum three years of related experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with ever‑changing priorities.
  • PC proficiency in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel; maintain a clear driving record to keep coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance.
