At Walmart, we’re seeking a dedicated Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services to join our team. In this year‑round role, you’ll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

• Lead and coordinate a team of exterior service technicians.
• Facilitate on‑the‑job training for processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices to ensure an injury‑free working environment.
• Utilize technology (phones, tablets, laptops) for work‑order management and record‑keeping.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as cutting grass, weed management, planting, pruning, and pest/disease management, with or without specialized equipment.
• Maintain commercial exterior maintenance tasks including irrigation, pressure washing, and general building/grounds upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and prioritize work to maintain a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Commit to upholding company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and safety.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial landscaping, exterior building maintenance, and leading teams.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide on‑the‑job training.
• Proficiency with technology for work‑order management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, state‑issued driver’s license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read and speak English.

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or related area.
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional.
• Intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Landscape crew leader or supervisor experience.
• Proficient in Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00‑$51.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour.
