Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

Join Tri Star Horizon Medical Center as a Physical Therapy Assistant PRN. This role supports patients with injuries or disease by restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent disabilities as directed by the Physical Therapist.

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department.
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and document care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
• Assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout hospitalization and in preparation for discharge.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

• State of Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
