TILE DISTRIBUTION - MATERIAL HANDLER I (DAYS)

Join Dal‑Tile, the largest manufacturer of tile & natural stone in the United States, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries.

We are seeking an eager, motivated entry‑level material handler in Dickson, TN. The role involves basic day‑to‑day warehouse functions and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Operates powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey them to the packing station or shipping area.

• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays, move, store, and replenish material, conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receiving duties: receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, notify management of damaged shipments.
• Operate forklift and order picker equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility: sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

High School diploma or equivalent;
Certified Sit‑Down Forklift Operator.

1‑year previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Physical demands: standing, using hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; occasional sitting, climbing, balancing; may lift and move up to 75 lbs. Average picks per hour: 25; weight range 40‑70 lbs.
