Theroleofateamleadinforkliftunloadingtruckoperationsinvolvesoverseeingtheteamtoensureefficientandsafeoperations.

Teamleadsareresponsiblefor:

• Trainingandsupervising
  junioroperatorstoensuretheyunderstandsafetyprotocolsand properequipmentoperation.
• Coordinating
  withotherteammemberstoensuresmoothworkflowandcommunication.
• Managing inventory
  tomaintainaccuraterecordsandensuretimelyreplenishment.
• Performingroutineinspections
  andmaintenancechecksonforkliftsandotherequipmenttopreventaccidentsandensureoperationalefficiency.
• Reporting discrepancies
  andmaintainingacleanandorganizedworkenvironment.
• Ensuring compliance
  withsafetyregulationsandcompanypoliciestomaintainasafeworkingenvironmentforallteammembers.
  Ateamleadwithexperienceinforkliftoperationsandastrongunderstandingofwarehousemanagementcanleadateamtoachieveoperationalexcellenceandcontributetotheoverallsuccessoftheteamandtheorganization.

Other duties to include:

• Operating forklifts to move materials around the facility or worksite
• Ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials and products
• Inspecting forklifts for safety and maintenance needs and reporting any issues or damages
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Checking loads are secure and properly distributed
• Stacking empty pallets and reorganizing the storage areas
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Using equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
• Always adhering to safety procedures and standards
• Daily inspection reports
