Nights $3.50, Weekends $6.00

Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator — Dickson, TN

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives).
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; supports training, development, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages practical labor aspects to align with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (within 1 year of start date)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days of start date)
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree; 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Leadership experience in Women’s, L&D, NICU, or Mother-Baby units
• CNC may serve as Charge and Assistant Nurse Manager; overnight availability required; comfortable delivering babies and scrubbing in the OR as needed
